Trying to pin point just one amazing characteristic about Dez Cleo is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.  When this 25-year-old young lady opens her mouth to sing, you’re not quite ready for what actually comes out. With her fiery red hair, sex appeal, soulful but fierce voice, and very unique look, it’s only obvious how her image fits perfectly with her personality and music. 

In November of 2011 she won “Miss Congeniality” in the Miss California USA Pageant with her title “Miss Santa Monica, CA, USA”.  She wowed the judges and participants by putting her own twist on pageantry.  A girl like this is not just a one-avenue entertainer. Dez also loves to act and model.  She attends acting school and works on set for various T.V shows regularly. 

Her favorite aspect of being a part of the music business is being able to evolve faster then what is out there now.  Since a young age her direction has always been futuristic.

She was the lead singer of a hard rock band called “By All Means Necessary” and wrote their first album.  Dez toured solid through 2009 & 2010 where she headlined in various events and festivals.  During 2011 & 2012 she created a new sound of Pop music with two main producers: Lucian Walker and Rayna Zemel.  She has been in and out of several different genre's of music for most of her life, and is still finding more ways to express herself daily.  Although this rockstar is not set in one particular genre yet, most believe it's because she is on a strong path to creating her own.  Cleo is always working on music video’s and live shows to visually express her new sound.  This passionate singer is always performing, writing, dancing, creating, and in the studio with new faces.  Dez is proudly featured on new songs with a variety of musicians ranging from rap/hip hop to hard rock artists.  She is now ready to tour again harder than ever.

Dez was born and raised in San Diego, California.  Her mother Sharon and father David knew from birth that she was destined to be the world’s most exotic-energetic-entertaining machine to ever have been created.  Sharon grew up with musical theatre and opera as her first love and background.  She taught her daughter everything she knew about music and from there Dez created her own stylistic way of singing exactly how she heard it in her head.  David was born in New York and grew up in an Italian household…so it’s no wonder where Cleo gets all her power and intelligence from.  She proudly radiates personality traits from both her parents.  Sadly, Sharon passed away in August of 2006 from a very rare type of cancer.  With her mother watching closely above and father by her side it’s no wonder why she always says, “I do what I do for my family.”
